Today, still working out of my Surf’s Up Workshop On the Go, I made a recipe page for my cookbook. I wanted to use the Surf’s Up collection for more than one theme to show how versatile it is. Sure, it’s a beach, water fun, sunshine themed collection, but it works really great here as well! I used the — patterned paper and cut it down to 8 1/2 x 11 to fit my cookbook. Then made an envelope with the Surf’s Up Gold cardstock. I also pulled out my sewing machine and added stitching.

Using some of the smaller scraps from yesterday, I made embellishment clusters. Two ribbon cut banner pieces are layered up with the serving size of the recipe and a wooden button from the Surf’s Up Workshop On the Go kit.

Here’s the second embellishment cluster with the cook and prep time. Don’t you just love these little wooden buttons?

Who knew you could use the Surf’s Up themed collection on a recipe page? Don’t forget to check back tomorrow with my final project using the Surf’s Up Workshop On the Go.
